Parks Marina takes stand to protect Iowa Great Lakes

Butch Parks, owner of Parks Marina hands Bill Maas, President of East Okoboji Lakes Improvement Corporation, a $5,000 donation to help with the control of Curleyleaf Pondweed. Maas says that Butch Parks has been the only business owner to step forth to join with the E.O.L.I.C. , Iowa DNR, and the City of Orleans to help control the infestation of the aggressive invasive species. Parks Marina has recognized the problem and has donated the same amount for the past several years.
