Parks Marina was proud to once again honor our Nations Veterans with the annual Salute to Veterans Night at The Barefoot Bar on Tues, August 1st.

“We were happy to donate a Maui Mat as a raffle item, says,” Butch Parks, owner of Parks Marina. “Vani Ahlers and representatives of Rally4Veterans sold raffle tickets to very enthusiastic crowds at The Barefoot on weekends, and our customers were very happy to help us honor our Veterans and have a chance to win the Maui Mat during our Salute to Veterans Night.”

“$3,135 was raised from our Barefoot customers alone for the Maui Mat “says Debbie Parks, head of Parks Marina’s Marketing department, “ That is enough to send 5 of our brave Veterans to Washington D.C. on the Honor Flight, and thank them for their service and sacrifice.”

Salute to Veterans Night at the Barefoot was highlighted with music by The Senders and many of our Nation’s service men and women in attendance at The Barefoot Bar in Okoboji. The winner in the drawing for the Maui Mat donated by Parks Marina was Albert Rens from Sioux Center.
