Parks Marina donates to Abben Cancer Center

Parks Marina and The Barefoot Bar in Okoboji is proud to announce the donation of $520.00 to the Abben Cancer Center in Spencer. Proceeds were a result of sales of a limited addition Pink “Barefoot for Boobies” T-shirts sold at Parks Marina.

The Abben Cancer Center of Spencer Hospital houses two distinct treatment services. Medical Oncology is a department of Spencer Hospital and Radiation Oncology is a free-standing clinic provided by Spencer Hospital. Spencer Hospital also provides Abben Cancer Center patients with education and numerous social services support.

"We are so appreciative of the area businesses and organizations, such as Parks Marina, who provide such wonder support for the patients and families from the region who receive care at Abben Cancer Center." Said Melissa Cunningham, Abben Cancer Center. 

“The Abben Cancer Center is so important to Northwest Iowans. “says Debbie Parks, head of Parks Marina’s Marketing department, “Abben has an exceptional staff that provides the very best in quality care. It is a comfort for patients and their family to have medical care nearby and close to home.”

Parks Marina continues to not only be dedicated to the service and care of its customers and employees, but also to the Iowa Great Lakes and surrounding communities.
