ATV/Motorcyle Studded Oval Races return to Parks Marina and Winter Games

 Winter Games attendees will once again have the thrill of Ice Oval Racing as they return for Parks Marina’s Ice Oval Shootout Saturday of Winter Games Weekend.

Studded ATV/UTV and Motorcycles will compete for cash payouts and bragging rights.

“The event will be coordinated by Parks Marina employees that are super power sports enthusiasts.” Says Debbie Parks, marketing director at Parks Marina. “This event draws a huge crowd and level of excitement to the Winter Games.”

There will be 11 classes in the races and a fan favorite, juniors division and the side by side series. Registration fees will be 100 percent payback as well as the sponsorships donated by several area businesses.

Kevin Winters is heading up the races this year and says, “Thanks to all of the local sponsors, the payouts will be big and should bring some pretty talented racers to the table. It’s been fun having the support of the area so we can bring the race back for Winter Games.”

Other events slated for Parks Marina’s East Lake location are: Helicopter Rides, Youth 120 Snowmobile test drives, Boat/ATV/Snowmobile Show, Human Dogsled Races, Ice Auger Races, Flag Football, Steinholding Contest, Ice Bars, Pure Fishing’s Casting Contest, Tubing, Horse Drawn Carriage rides and much more.
