Originally from Sergeant Bluff, Iowa, Jamie remembers spending the month of August with his family in a cabin on Big Spirit for several years. As a kid, he loved spending his day walking the shoreline with a fishing pole in his hand or joining his family skiing, tubing, or knee boarding behind their boat. Most of his favorite family memories involve the Lakes.

After receiving his degree in Education from Westmar University in LeMars, Iowa and enjoying a teaching/coaching career in Estherville, Jamie was drawn to help out at a Parks Marina Open House one summer. The following fall he made a career move, joining Park Marina in 2000.

Among his many accomplishments, he was named the #1 salesperson in the world for Cobalt Boat sales for 2015. This recognition is based on sales volume and measures against the sales performance of Cobalt boats worldwide.

Today, Jamie continues to enjoy the casual atmosphere of working at Parks and not being stuck behind a desk. His favorite part of the job has been the number of people he has met over the years and the relationships he has built with them. He seems to run into friends everywhere he goes.
