Duties
Greet customers and assess their boat and water vehicle service needs, ensuring a positive customer experience.
Document customer concerns and relay information accurately to the service team.
Utilize auto service management software to track service requests and manage workflow efficiently.
Upsell additional services based on customer needs and boat condition, enhancing overall sales performance.
Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services while maintaining high-quality standards.
Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any further needs.
Requirements
Proven experience in automotive, marine, implement, or powersport service writing or a related field is preferred.
Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, including basic understanding of engines, electrical systems, and drive systems.
Familiarity with estimating processes is a plus.
Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell services effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with customers and team members.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Proficiency in using service management software is advantageous.
