Job Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to walk-in, phone, and email customers by identifying and supplying the correct marine parts and accessories.

  • Support Service Advisors and Technicians by sourcing, pulling, staging, and issuing parts for repair orders.

  • Create and maintain accurate work orders and parts transactions to ensure proper pricing on all customers and internal orders.

  • Order parts from manufacturers and vendors while monitoring special orders, backorders, and expected delivery dates.

  • Communicate proactively with customers regarding order status, availability, and delays.

  • Receive, inspect, label, stock, and organize incoming inventory while maintaining accurate inventory records.

  • Assist with physical inventories and investigate inventory discrepancies.

  • Process returns, exchanges, and defective merchandise according to manufacturer guidelines.

  • Coordinate daily with Parts, Service, Sales, and Marina Operations to prioritize customer needs and maximize efficiency.

  • Operate point-of-sale and inventory management systems accurately.

  • Assist with seasonal workload and perform other duties assigned to support operations.

Qualifications

  • Required

    • High school diploma

    • Positive attitude, dependable work ethic, and team-first mindset.

    • Strong customer service and communication skills.

    • Organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Preferred

    • College Degree in Parts or etc

    • Marine equipment parts experience preferred.

    • Ability to lift packages and stand for extended periods of time.

    • Ability to learn manufacturer parts catalogs and inventory software quickly.

    • Proficient with computers and point-of-sale/inventory systems.
