Claire Cramm, of Dallas, Texas, took the trip of a lifetime this past Christmas season with her family to China. Among the many stops they made, her trip included such activities as negotiating for goods outside the Great Wall of China. She can also be seen standing in Tiananmen Square in Beijing, China. Finally, the highlight of Claire’s trip was a visit to the main square in Lhasa, Tibet, China. You can see the Potala Palace in the background. That palace was the home of the Dalai Lama until the late 1950’s when he was driven out of Tibet. Tibet is often closed to tourists by the Chinese government, in fact, it is currently closed because of political uprisings. So, the entire Cramm family felt lucky to get to make such an amazing stop on their trip! Looks like Claire definitely needed her Barefoot headgear to keep warm!
