Norm Meinking of Spirit Lake, IA is pictured here in the Sahara desert 380 km south west of Cairo, Eygpt with his Bedouin friend, Magdi. They were at a small Oasis called “Ain El Serw”, 50 km from the nearest civilization. Norm visited Egypt just before the revolution occurred.
